Palmetto Roofing and Solar works across Florence, Hartsville, Darlington and the surrounding Pee Dee, with more than 30 years of roofing experience behind us. Roofing is the core of what we do, and solar installation sits alongside it because putting things on roofs correctly is the same skill.
We run our own crews rather than subcontracting the work out. That means the people who look at your roof are the people who fix it, and there’s nobody in the middle to blame when something isn’t right.
You’ll see our trucks around town. That’s deliberate — we’re not a storm-chasing outfit that appears after bad weather and disappears before the warranty matters. We live here, and the roofs we put on are roofs we drive past.

Four things we won’t budge on
Tell the truth
If your roof doesn’t need replacing, we’ll say so and leave. A customer we didn’t oversell is a customer who calls us when they do need us.
Respect the property
Screening, tarps and plywood before the first shingle comes off. Magnet sweep before we leave. Your landscaping shouldn’t pay for your roof.
No hidden layers
We tear off rather than roof over, because covering up bad decking is how a roof fails early and how a contractor hides a shortcut.
Answer the phone
Open 24 hours isn’t a marketing line. Storms don’t keep office hours, and neither should the person you call about them.
